Amanda Bäcklin is a singer and songwriter who has been performing since the age of seven. Following her graduation from the music program at Foss High School in Oslo, Norway, Amanda was accepted to the highly esteemed Berklee College of Music. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2016 with a BA in Professional Music, focusing on Performance, Music Business, Songwriting and Production.
"Berklee was a dream come true, but dreams don't come easy and I quickly learned that you have to work extremely hard to get what- and to where you want in life."
In conjunction with her graduation, Amanda recorded and self-released her first official EP "All I Wanted to Say" - a five-track record which she wrote, arranged and co-produced.
"Since I was a kid, I've listened to- and loved a variety of musical styles, genres and artists. My first EP is an exploration of these influences, combining my love for pop, rock, classical and gospel music."
With her new single "Addicted", Amanda hopes to take her musical career to the next step. It's an honest and powerful pop-hit about not wanting to let go, despite the many reasons to do so.
"Addicted" is set to be released November 12th 2018.
